Mauritius is an island of tranquil shores backed by lush green mountains. For a relatively small tropical island in the southern Indian Ocean it offers so much more than picture-postcard beaches. Alongside days of relaxation you can dive into marine adventures, island explorations, and a culture shaped by European, African, Indian, and Chinese influences. I work with a trusted partner who was among the first to open hotels on the island - securing spectacular beachfront locations that remain among the finest in Mauritius.

How I Help

Choosing between eight outstanding Mauritius resorts can feel overwhelming, especially when each has its own character, setting, and strengths. I take the time to understand how you like to holiday - your preferred pace, the kind of atmosphere you enjoy, and what matters most to you - and then match you with the resort that fits perfectly. With trusted partner access I can also explore other Beachcomber and non-Beachcomber properties if something different suits you better.

Prices and Planning

Airlines and hotels constantly update their offers, so I do not display fixed prices on my website. Share your plans using my enquiry form and within one working day I will arrange a no-obligation consultation, followed by a personalised quotation including flights, transfers, and any extras.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to visit Mauritius?

Mauritius has a warm tropical climate year-round. The best weather is May to November - the dry, cooler season with light breezes and little rain. December to April is hotter and more humid, with the occasional tropical cyclone, though many visitors travel then for lower prices and summer sunshine.

Which Mauritius resort is best for families?

Trou aux Biches, Shandrani, Paradis, Victoria, Canonnier, and Mauricia all welcome families with kids' clubs, wide ranges of activities, and family-friendly accommodation. Shandrani's three beaches and Blue Bay marine park snorkelling make it particularly popular with families who want a beach and wildlife combination.

Which Mauritius resort is best for a couple or honeymoon?

Royal Palm is the most prestigious and private option. Dinarobin offers romantic seclusion at Le Morne with adults-only Zen suites. Salzburgerhof is a five-star alpine option. For Mauritius honeymoons, Royal Palm or Dinarobin are the most sought-after choices.

What is the difference between half board and all-inclusive?

Half board includes breakfast and dinner. All-inclusive adds lunch, snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day and evening. For most guests staying more than seven nights, all-inclusive offers better value and more freedom - you never have to think about the bill.

How long is the flight from the UK to Mauritius?

Direct flights from London take around eleven to twelve hours. Several airlines operate direct services, including British Airways and Air Mauritius. I will find the most convenient routing and best fares for your dates.

Which resort is closest to the airport?

Shandrani Beachcomber is the nearest to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport - just four miles and a very short transfer. Most other resorts are between 37 and 47 miles from the airport, with a private transfer taking around one to one and a half hours.

Can I visit multiple resorts in one trip?

Some Beachcomber resorts offer inter-dining arrangements, allowing guests to dine at sister properties. Splitting your stay between two resorts - perhaps a lively north coast resort like Mauricia and a quieter south coast property like Shandrani - is also something I can arrange if you want to experience more of the island.
